ONLINE PREMIER: JAPAN RESULTS

The Online Premier for Japan was one of the biggest events of the season, with 925 players taking part. The event took place from January 5th through 7th, and we now have the final results! HITBOX|Kawano made it to Grand Finals from the winners side of the bracket and has taken first place. He has now earned a qualifying spot to compete at Capcom Cup X in February. Coming in second place is BC|Otani, whose two losses in the event were both to Kawano by narrow margins first at Winners Finals and then at Grand Finals. NAGOYA OJA|Akira took third place.

The next Online Premier event will be US/Canada West, which will take place from January 20th through 21st. Now let’s take a look at the full results for top 8.
